Oskar Knapik, PhD, is a systems scientist, author and Longevity & Human Development Advisor working at the intersection of biological cybernetics and human development. He holds a PhD in econometrics from Aarhus University, where his research at CREATES developed methods for modeling dynamic, non-linear systems, and he later applied that work in finance and energy markets before turning it toward the human organism. For eight years he has led the Dhanvantari Institute for Psychobiological Regeneration in Poland. He is the creator of BioMastering™, the developer of the ANTHROPOS Model and the APEIRON Protocol™, founder of the BioMastering Institute, and the author of Live Long to Live Forever.

Full biography

Oskar Knapik, PhD, is a quantitative systems scientist, author and researcher working at the intersection of biological cybernetics and longevity.

He holds a PhD in Econometrics from Aarhus University, where he conducted research at CREATES and developed advanced methods for analyzing dynamic, adaptive and non-linear systems. He later applied the same quantitative perspective to artificial intelligence, financial systems and energy-market analytics. Over time, his attention shifted toward an even more complex adaptive system: the human organism.

His research begins with a fundamental question: why does a biological system capable of continuous repair, renewal and adaptation gradually lose its ability to regulate itself? He approaches aging not simply as the accumulation of isolated defects, but as a progressive deterioration of biological coordination, feedback and self-regulation.

This perspective led him to develop psychobiocybernetics — an integrative framework for studying the human organism as a complex, self-regulating information system. It combines quantitative systems thinking with concepts drawn from biological cybernetics, physiology, bioelectric regulation, biomechanics and mind–body interaction. At the center of his work is the ANTHROPOS Model, a systems-level representation of the human organism designed to examine how different regulatory processes interact and why interventions focused on only one biological layer may eventually reach a plateau. He is also the originator of the APEIRON Protocol™, a structured, layer-by-layer approach to supporting biological coherence and restoring the organism's capacity for effective self-regulation.

He calls the applied synthesis of this work BioMastering™ — the science and practice of Human Coherence. BioMastering does not treat the body as a collection of independent parts to be optimized separately. It treats the human being as an interconnected biological system whose long-term function depends on coherence between its regulatory layers.

His book, Live Long to Live Forever, presents this systems perspective to a wider audience. It explores aging as a potentially tractable problem of biological regulation and asks how far human healthspan and biological continuity might be extended if the organism's capacity for coordination, adaptation and renewal could be preserved. He is also the founder of the BioMastering Institute and of the Live Forever Movement, an initiative dedicated to advancing a world in which people are able to develop and express their biological, intellectual and human potential as fully as possible.

His work is guided by one central idea: aging may not be only a problem of damaged parts. It may also be a problem of a system gradually losing coherence.
